Anders Mogensen
Since entering the Danish jazzscene in the early 1990´ies, drummer Anders Mogensen has been one of the most sought after musicians on the International Jazz scene.
Thoughout the 1990’ies and present, Anders has toured and recorded with a lot of internationally acclaimed musicians, like: Brecker Brothers, the late Bob Berg, Gary Thomas, Rick Margitza, Steve Swallow, Michael Formanek, Marc Johnson, Tim Hagans, Niels Lan Doky, Chris Minh Doky, Django Bates, Lew Soloff, Tim Berne and Herb Robertson.
From then on he founded and was a member of some of the most influential groups showing new ways for the Danish jazz community, like: Copenhagen Art Ensemble, When Granny Sleeps, Jacob Anderskov Trio and Kasper Tranberg Yakuza Zhuffle.
Anders Mogensen perfomed with Swedish saxophonist Henrik Frisk and American pianist Richie Beirach on October 12 at Victoriateatern in Malmö during KOPAfestival 2010.
