Anders Vestergård
Anders Vestergård was born in Finland in 1971, but has been living in Sweden since 1995.
Anders is a well established drummer and percussionist with a wide musical range. His roots are in jazz och free improvised music, but he has also been involved with Cuban and Brazilian music.
Current works include various projects as a co-leader with Un x pected Brazilian Project, playing drums in DrumVoiceUnion, TWANG!, Organic Vibes and percussion in The Opposite. He is also one of the six drummers in the internationally acclaimed movies Music For One Appartment and Six Drummersand Sound Of Noisewhich has led him to do both group and solo drum perfomances at several filmfestivals and premieres in Europe, USA and Russia.
He's been playing with artists such as, Niklas Winter, Uffe Krokfors, Tane Kannisto, Okay Temiz, Andreas Andersson and Ensemble Barsch, Bobo Stensson, Calixto Oviedo, Ola Åkerman, Johan Leijonhuvud, Fredrik Carlqvist, Cennet Jönsson, Mats Andersson, Miriam Aïda, the art ensemble Heavy Collaboration, Henrik Frisk, Michael Buckley, Ronan Guilfoyle among others and been on tours in Europe and Brazil.
