Henrik Frisk and Richie Beirach toured a great deal together in the nineties and released the duo-CD "Expressions". They also worked together with Ensemble Ars Nova (SE) and with a string orchestra (CD- recording in Warsaw, 2005). Henrik Frisk and Anders Mogensen were co-leaders of a quartet with American saxophonist Gary Thomas and bass player Michael Formanek with extended tours in all of the Scandinavian countries. Anders Mogensen's vital and energetic drum playing is a great compliment to the sax and piano-duo, without losing the freedom created by the small and intimate format. The result becomes a dynamic and powerful trio with a wide spectrum.
The trio performed on October 12 at Victoriateatern in Malmö during KOPAfestival 2010.
