Lisbeth Diers
Lisbeth Diers (DK), b 1969, percussionist and drummer. Diers has for many years been in great demand on the Scandinavian and European jazz scene playing with such greats as Django Bates, Anders Jormin, Lena Willemark, Josefine Cronholm, Ibis, Jørgen Emborg, Steve Swallow, Bobo Stenson, Jazzbaltica Ensemble, Marilyn Mazur Percussion Paradise, Susi Hyldgaard. 1996 she played a trio concert with Airto and Trilok Gurtu and in 1999 with Don Alias and Marilyn Mazur. She also has her on orchestra: Lisbeth Diers Chime. Diers appears on more than 40 record releases.
Diers plays in Cenlistho - a new trio with bass player Thommy Andersson and saxophonist Cennet Jönsson. She is featured in Cennet Jönsson's Triple Bass Fantasy and has done several guest performances with Relay Orchestra.
